Racing bikes usually have a soft disc covers over the spokes of their wheels. Why this radios fine threads of a problem around in fast-moving bicycle?
Disturb the air creates friction. The radios individually create friction during movement. A soft disc cover creates less disturbance of the air and therefore less friction and therefore are better for speed. They suck in crosswinds.
